BUS6 - Business English Course 6

Course Description

This course is intended for practising managers, senior business students and secretarial personnel in administration, export, finance, general business, marketing, personnel and production.
The school is equipped with audio-visual material and a Teacher Resource Library. Participants are encouraged to inform the school of any special interest in order to make the course more useful and meaningful.
The course is designed to improve everyday spoken and written English and especially to promote fluency in business communication. This course includes Business letters - Enquiries, Orders, Complaints, etc. Situations from general management to the entertainment of business colleagues are discussed. Telephone English forms an important part of the course.

Period of Operation: All year

Maximum Students: 6 per class

Ideally students should be at least 18 years old to participate in this course.

Duration of Course: Minimum 1 week. Courses normally begin every Monday. However, special arrangements can be made for students arriving on a different day.

Sessions per Week: 20 sessions - 9.00 - 12.30 hours or 30 sessions - 9.00 - 14.30 hours (If there is only one participant, sessions will be reduced to 10 and 15 respectively)

Duration of Session: 45 minutes

Levels: This course is available at Lower Intermediate, Intermediate and Advanced levels only

PSE - Personalised Special English - Business

Course Description

This is a one-to-one course offering participants practice in the English language for use in a Business field selected by the participant. The Academy should receive full details of the subject level and duration of the course at least 3 weeks in advance so that a programme can be formulated and a specialised teacher can be appointed.
Although the Academy keeps comprehensive and up-to-date resource material participants are encouraged to provide their own texts to make the course more relevant to their own needs. Activities in connection with participant's specific interest can be organised by the Academy.

Period of Operation: All the year round

Duration of Course: Open.

Sessions per Week: 15 sessions - 9.00 - 11.15 hours, 20 sessions - 09.00 - 12.30 hours or 30 sessions - 09.00 - 14.30 hours

Duration of Session: 45 minutes

Levels: Starting from Lower Intermediate level.

General: Classes need not be held on the school premises and the time-schedule is flexible.
